    Nick Peasant

    FOUNDER / FACILITATOR

    Nick is a product and design leader with a passion for helping children thrive in the digital world. Drawing on years of experience leading creative teams and designing products that put people first, he understands the importance of curiosity, empathy, and problem-solving in a fast-changing world. As a father of three, he founded The Mindful Digital Collective to help children build confidence, think critically, and develop responsible digital habits that will serve them for life.

    Karen Cole

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Karen has a wealth of experience across recruitment, fashion, and business leadership, having successfully run her own company for over 15 years. She brings exceptional communication skills and a passion for working with schools to help The Mindful Digital Collective reach more children as they prepare for life in the digital world.

    Sandra Drum

    EDUCATIONAL ADVISOR

    Sandra has taught in both primary and secondary schools and brings a wealth of practical teaching experience to MDC.

    Sandra is passionate about the emotional well-being of the child and protecting young minds. She firmly believes that children need tools and strategies to enhance their ability to flourish emotionally in life.   

    Sandra has vast experience as an educator and has worked with a great many families and children throughout her career. Her roles included Deputy Head (Pastoral), Designated Senior Person for Safeguarding and Child Protection and head of implementing the PSHE curriculum. 

    Sandra strongly feels that all children would benefit having access to MDC courses as they transition into secondary school.

    Sarah Baker

    ADVISOR

    Sarah has an extensive background in the media industry. Her deep understanding of the digital world, combined with her experience as a mother, enables her to shape and present our media content in a way that’s engaging, relatable, and inspiring for the children who need our courses most. She also advises on course content to ensure it connects meaningfully with young audiences.

    Gemma Nailer

    CONTENT & MARKETING / FACILITATOR

    Gemma has a degree in English Language and Literature, as well as a unique background across a variety of roles. This includes tutoring English as a foreign language and teaching yoga. Gemma aligns the expansive aims of the company with the deepest values of its members; supporting children and families to safely thrive in this ever-changing digital world.

Join the team

Facilitators

The Mindful Digital Collective delivers engaging courses in primary schools, helping Year 6 pupils build the skills they need to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.

We’re currently looking for enthusiastic facilitators across the South-West London area to join our growing team.

As a facilitator, you’ll work with Year 6 children to help them understand how to manage their online lives, use digital tools responsibly, and prepare for the transition to secondary school.

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Patient, empathetic, and creative

  • Strong communicators and adaptable in the classroom

  • Culturally aware and sensitive to the needs of different communities

No prior teaching experience is required — full training and resources will be provided.
